Day 1 - Arrive Copenhagen, Embark Ship

Fly into the Danish capital of Copenhagen this afternoon and transfer as a group to your ship (please enquire for timing). Settle in to your cabin before getting to know your fellow guests during a Welcome Dinner this evening.

Day 2 - Rønne, Gudhjem

Arrive in Rønne today, the largest town on the island of Bornholm, Denmark’s easternmost island. Set off on a tour around the island, visiting Hammershus Slotsruin, a 13th century castle that sits high on a hill overlooking the Baltic Sea. Discover the local way of life in the fishing village of Gudhjem, and see the fortified Romanesque-style Østerlars Church.

Day 3 - Gdańsk

Cross the Baltic Sea on the way to the Polish port of Gdańsk. Join your guide for a tour of this history-filled city, taking in the Old Town, Artus Court and Red Hall. Take a stroll along St Mary’s Street and admire the 17th-century houses and shops before stopping at St Mary’s Church. Continue to see the beautifully decorated chapels, astronomical clock and an ornate baroque organ. As you return to the port, look for the 5th-century Gdańsk Crane – once the largest crane in medieval Europe. After lunch enjoy leisure time to explore. Perhaps return to the city centre on an included shuttle bus or take a walk from the port to the Westerplatte memorial, the site of the first battle of World War II.

Day 4 - Klaipėda

Arriving in Lithuania today, enjoy an Insider Experience. Alternatively, embark on a nature hike to the Nagliai Nature Reserve, a bird-lovers paradise. Sample locally smoked fish and traditional cheeses, and enjoy a glass of Lithuanian beer. Return to town for a free afternoon. Those that so desire may take the opportunity to visit the Lighthouse Brewery.

Day 5 - Rīga

As you continue your exploration of the Baltic Sea, make landfall in the Latvian capital of Rīga. Join a local guide to get to know this charming Gothic city, full of winding cobblestone streets, inviting parks and church spires. Drive through the city’s colourful art nouveau district, and take a walk along Alberta Street. Embark on a walking tour of the Old City, taking in the Town Hall Square, Dome Square, Dome Cathedral, Livu Square, Guild Houses, and Rīga Castle. On an evening at leisure, your ship will remain docked close to town if you wish to explore.

Day 6 - Saaremaa, Veere

Spend the morning at sea before docking in the small Estonian port village of Veere on the nature-lover’s haven of Saaremaa Island. This large island is known for its open spaces and fresh air, and today you’ll discover why it is so loved by the Estonian people. After an Insider Experience, continue to Kuressaare where you’ll view the House of Knighthood, Town Hall, St Nicholas Church, Weigh House, and the Bishop Castle. Or, take a Nordic walking tour to Tagaranna village.

Day 7 - Tallinn

Discover the charm of Tallinn’s medieval Old Town on a walking tour. Once inside the city walls, explore the winding cobblestone streets and climb a watchtower for fantastic views over the Dome Church and countless red-gabled roofs. Wind your way down to the Lower Town to see the Town Hall, old apothecary, the Great Guild House and the Holy Ghost Church. Explore the modern city at your leisure this afternoon.

Day 8 - St Petersburg

Cruise into Russia’s Neva River today, where you dock in colourful St Petersburg. Board a coach for a scenic trip into the heart of the city where your first stop is Peterhof Palace. Enjoy a tour of the Grand Palace, built for Peter the Great. Walk up the iconic Main Staircase which leads to stunningly decorated halls and staterooms. Continue to the magically curated Lower Garden. This afternoon, visit the Hermitage Museum, Russia’s largest art museum. Tonight perhaps take the opportunity to enjoy an optional evening at the Russian ballet.

Day 9 - St Petersburg

Your second day in stunning St Petersburg sees you visit a masterpiece of Russian baroque architecture, Catherine Palace, built to rival the Palace of Versailles. Later, embark on a panoramic tour seeing the Peter and Paul Fortress and Peter and Paul Cathedral before a boat ride along the rivers and canals of St Petersburg.

Day 10 - Helsinki

Today you'll arrive in the Finnish city of Helsinki. Here, visit the open-air market of Senate Square and the elegant Lutheran Cathedral. Continue to see the Sibelius monument, and Mannerheimintie, where the Parliament House, the National Museum, and the new Opera House are located. Continue to the Olympic Stadium for a photo stop. This evening, enjoy your final dinner on board your ship.

Day 11 - Disembark Ship, Depart Stockholm
